My first meal that I cooked was a baked potato. I was c. 9 or ten and a bunch of us kids went out in the woods at Scotch Hill in Larimer, PA-near Pbgh, built a fire and cooked potatoes. Baked, I should say, for we just tossed the potatoes into the glowing wood embers and for a few minutes, then took them out and ate them, charred skin and all. Gutes Essen.

Dandelion salad, Chili Dog and Bubbly Bakes

Nope, unless you count the first Tuesday of the month when I play bridge at Hoss's and have the salad bar offerings for lunch. I'm too parsimonious to eat out very often.
